The desire to be involved in a business that offers social, environmental and financial returns has long been a driver for Ben. After 10 years working overseas he returned to Western Australia with a desire to make positive changes in his own community.
When Ben married into a family that has been farming in the Wheatbelt for four generations, he was inspired by the people around him who demonstrate resilience and passion for their land and community.
“My vision is that in 20 years, the Wheatbelt towns will be full of exciting food outlets and regenerated farms and people will travel to the region to experience new cultures and great food. People from across the world will come to the Wheatbelt to enjoy the unique wildlife and ancient landscapes.”
